I have been painting since 1993.  Before then, I enjoyed drawing and had tried my hand at painting, but never could find the time to devote to it while raising our two daughters with my husband and working full time.  Since I retired due to my husband’s job transfer to Mexico City, I have had the time to look around me, learn and immerse myself in art.

I have taken workshops and classes in Mexico City, Mexico and in Portsmouth, Exeter and Rye, New Hampshire.  I have studied at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.

I have explored different mediums, but find I am drawn to the richness and lush color and texture of oils.  I find they lend themselves well to my technique and style.

I am now living in Lago Vista, Texas, right outside of Austin and enjoy painting in my beautiful studio overlooking Lake Travis.  I accept commissions and sales from my web site.
