I have always loved making art, but it was not until my family moved to Mexico City in 1993 and I retired from my career as a physical therapist that I was able to pursue painting seriously. I have studied with many gifted artists in workshops and ongoing classes and although not otherwise formally trained have learned a tremendous amount from these generous teachers. My medium of choice is oil and my work is primarily in portrait, figure and still life.
